Sad state of Bihar…#Padmavat not playing even in multiplex.but no news screening in muzaffarpur.@aajtak @ZeeNews @NitishKumar .Very disappointed.Nothing to watch in dis 3day holidays.

In an open letter to the Bihar State Commission for the Protection of Child Rights (BSCPCR), we have expressed our great concern regarding the distribution of textbooks for the upcoming school year.

So not a word of alarm for rhe state govts for Govts of Bihar and Bangal ? BTW Such things don’t happen between Gujarat and Maharashtra and MP.and Goa. So Modi should get full credit? Control yourself and question the State Govts responsible to clampdown.

It does happen there as well, however not at these scale. The state govts are complicit, but whose govt is it in Bihar? What about a comprehensive national policy on cows and cattle? BTW watch this special report on Lok Sabha TV

People who violate the law are arrested in the States are mentioned. I tHink you need to pipe down and control your self. This habit of blaming the PM and the Union Govt for every thing is idiotic.

Again, you need to watch the report before being the usual defensive. This has to do both with central and state govts. The PM is wary of cow vigilantes but not of cattle mafia?

1. In 1971, TN and Bihar (its current form) had a population of 41 and 42 Million respectively. In 2011, Bihar had a population of 103 Million while TN had 72 Million.
Bihar’s population in the 30 year period increased by 61 Million while TN’s increased by 30 Million. In the same period, MP’s population increased by 42 Million. Even though the state had a base population of 30 Million in 1971.

This divergence is going to get worse because TN has now reached a stage where its population is not even increasing year on year. Its CDR is roughly equal to or slightly higher than CBR.

That is, Bihar’s absolute population increased by 146% in 30 years. And MP’s increased by 141%. Both roughly twice the rate of increase in TN.

The 2021 Census will reveal how even a slightly lower TFR in Bihar and MP compared to their own past high TFR, still accelerated the divergence between those states and TN.

The reason being: these states are making more babies still while TN has had a generation of below replacement TFR that there are fewer younger people who make babies in the first place.

To understand the extent of success that TN had, forget comparing it to BIMARU states. Compare it with another state that now has below replacement TFR: Karnataka.

In 1971, KA had a population of 29 Million, compared to TN’s 41 Million. The absolute increase in population in KA, despite a now below replacement TFR and a starting point that’s 12 M lower, was HIGHER than TN!

Between 1971 and 2011, KA has an absolute population increase of 31 Million while TN had an increase of 30 Million.

Cattles smuggling from Bihar to WB is happening on daily basis which must have involved a large number of people from the system. Otherwise it is impossible to move one cattle from one state to another, here loaded trucks with cattles are moving.

Authorities take immediate action to stop illegal trafficking inspite of information n location given trucks r not stop n seize Meat Mafia is ruling the state plz uphold the law put criminals behind the bars. Save these mutes.

Strict action needs to be taken to stop this menace, are both the state governments willing is the question!

If you had little common sense, u would’ve asked yourself,if at all Owaisi had to benefit BJP,why did he withdraw from contesting so many states and why only 6 in Bihar,26 in Maha, very few in UP?How can MIM benefit BJP by contesting 6 seats in Bihar? And who won the state? Not BJP Each state is different. Arithmetics are different. You may be right, but recent trend indicates what I’m saying. I see it growing in other states. If you have sense, you’ll know that it’s testing waters. Every political party wants to grow and expand its base. What is wrong… Read more »
